A lot has been written about
the alleged “feud” between Prince William and Prince Harry. But, has this issue
been blown out of proportion? A royal commentator has now shed some light on
the issue and dispelled some false notions that have been circulating online.
The rumors began to circulate
after Kensington Palace announced that Prince Harry and his wife would be
moving to Frogmore Cottage in Windsor. There was a feeling among the
public that there was a falling out between the brothers.
Meghan Markle too was subject of a lot of discussion, with
some people suggesting that the reason why
the two brothers had a “feud” was because Prince Harry was not happy
about his elder brother cautioning him about moving ahead with his relationship
too quickly.
Royal commentator Omid Scobie confirmed to Yahoo UK’s “The Royal Box” recently that there
was a period between the brothers that can best be described as “patchy.”
However, to call it a “fall-out” or a “feud” would be “extreme,” according to
the commentator.
As far as the question of them not living together is
concerned, this apparently is because their respective families are growing and
they have different responsibilities that they have to manage on their own.
According to Omid, it is best for Prince William and Prince Harry to work separately
and come together for family and social occasions.
While Omid is attempting to play down whatever the issue the
two brothers are facing, the royal correspondent for The Sun Emily Andrews told Yahoo UK’s “The Royal Box” that Prince William and
Prince Harry did not see each other in private for six months after the wedding
last May.
According to Andrews, there have been ups and downs in the
relationship between Prince William and Prince Harry in the past. The public,
however, never got to see these troubles in their relationship, which suggests
that any news now of even a minor conflict may be seen as something huge.
